What is the difference between single-stage and dual-stage snow blowers?
Single-Stage Snow Blowers are used in small areas to remove light snow by clearing and throwing snow in one motion.
Dual-Stage Snow Blowers are used in large areas for clearing heavy snow in 2 stages:
Stage 1 - Forward rotating augers force snow toward the center of the auger housing and into the discharge impeller.
Stage 2 - Discharge impeller rotates, throwing snow out of the discharge chute.
